    New Project Starting Soon

Sandwich was great. I had a slice of provolone although I considered swiss at one point but thought it might be too neutral. Tomato was homegrown beefsteak. Much smaller than usual due to the extreme drought we've had all summer. Just a dab of mayo. The bread was a home baked french roll, I'm...

    New Project Starting Soon

I was posting on the NCRS site at the time. A C3 Corvette related post too.

    New Project Starting Soon

I had a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich for lunch.

    The Seventh Hole

Yes it was. Since it's got nothing to do with Corvettes of any generation, especially C3s, why do you think anyone here would give a sh*t?

    Rear Suspension

I had that. The car was just too low to the ground. Try raising it a 1/2 inch and see.

With These C3's It NEVER Stops

    Seems Joe B strikes again.

With These C3's It NEVER Stops

    I'm guessing you're under 60 years old? ;)

With These C3's It NEVER Stops

Do you know a guy named Joe Btfsplk? Might want to choose some different friends.

Cold air supply and a custom tune

Why not open the hood and look? There's a huge aftermarket out there anxious to sell you a cold air intake, promising incredible gains in HP. Their premise is that the OEM intake is a piece of junk designed by idiot engineers who were under the thumbs of accountants. There was a study done for...

    Help! High octane fuel.

Why? :eyerole Do you just like wasting money?

    Help! High octane fuel.

On a sort of serious note- either use the equipment more often, or run the tool dry between uses.

    Help! High octane fuel.

There's no reason for your car not to run perfectly on 91 or 93 pump gas. Almost all octane boosters are snake oil to one degree or another, typically a bottle will boost the octane by 0.1 point, not the 1.0 they seem to promise. You didn't ask but no need for 'lead' either. As for ethanol...

    C-7 Oil Change

Reading your two latest posts above, I think you could have just said 'no'. I was going to give you partial credit for knowing that Ottawa is in Canada but had to take it away again for thinking that the economic model does not apply here nor would we understand it. Carry on with your education...

    C-7 Oil Change

Aside from personal insults and irrational lectures about where people should shop according to your flawed thinking, do you intend to contribute anything of actual value to this forum?

    C-7 Oil Change

Except that your business model vilifying Walmart also applies to Auto Zone, Napa and the other huge international auto parts chains which also pay their people poorly in as terrible conditions as they can get away with, and have wiped out the small independent guys. Every town used to have at...

    C-7 Oil Change

    You didn't answer my question.

    C-7 Oil Change

This might just be the dumbest thread ever, including those started by TBTR. Why is less harmful to put a Walmart employee out of a job than an Auto Zone or NAPA employee?

    Rear Bearing Hubs

In a nutshell, yes. This, and the silly variety of tools that supposedly regreased the bearings while in situ. :eyerole If this was a good thing for the rear bearings, why aren't the same practices used on the fronts? The bearings don't need/benefit from extra grease nor will packing the...

    C-7 Oil Change

You joined just to dig up an old post and lecture people where to shop? :ugh

    Rear Bearing Hubs

Cause TBTR has got his facts wrong. Again. The extra grease will NOT melt as he assumes. It will just sit in an off-balance lump. This stuff was beaten to death (and I thought buried) almost 50 years ago when the cars were new.
