Thanks Hib. Once again I had feeling you would answer. I actually gave this one to my step son. Good kid who deserves something good in his life. A hard worker and never asks for anything. If I pull the plenum I will make sure I follow your advice.

Help Thanks. The battery has been test as ell as all connections. I was just wondering if there were any known issues with the clutch neutral safety switch etc. I really don't want to pull the plenum if at all possible.I will start testing each leg of the starting system. Thanks for the reply...

All the paperwork says the same thing. Replaced torque tube.

Torque Tube What it sounds like is a problem I have had with my last 2 2017 Grand Sports.; Torque tube bearings failing. The first one I had went bad 5 times in 6 months.; This one lasted a whole year before it went south. It is in the shop right now. Hoping to get it back on Monday.

Shiddering No I never had that problem. The torque tube bearing kept failing. First at 6 months then 2 months later then a month later and then a week after the repair. I would hear it when coming to a stop and occasionally when on the freeway and letting off the go fast pedal. Never a shudder...

At Long Last Finally finished all the GM "process" paperwork and have taken delivery of another 2017 Grand Sport. This one is Blue with the white center stripe and red Heritage stripes on the fenders. I honestly thought I would die before we finished all of this crap. Been driving it for a week...

I have a 2014 Z51 and the only problem I have had with it is the center display went out about 4 months after purchase. Good luck and you are going to love whatever one you choose. These cars are truly amazing.

Not sure why it would quit but I know that the center stack with the stereo, NAV etc is all processed through the main display behind the steering wheel. It is probably responsible for the HUD also.
