Tuna Sport and Friend Okay, here's a picture or two of my C6 - 60th Anniversary Design Package 427 Convertible. After the Bash and after a wash and wax. The Tuna Sport's friend in the garage is a CTS V Wagon, 2011, stick shift, Recaro seats. Just gave it a wash and wax.

    50K Miles and Still Going...

My Vette isn't a ZO6 but it has the ZO6 drive train. I've got 45,000+ on my 427 and all is good. Love that LS7!

Battery seems to be my problem because a new one solved all my problems.

    Help! Battery???

Okay, I'm up and getting around to checking the battery - 12.1 volts direct reading. After putting it in accessory mode and checking the battery gauge on the dash, it shows 10.8-11.1. Not good. I've put a charger on it and will get a new battery installed when I can get it to the shop. :w

    Help! Battery???

I drove it Saturday on another club road trip. Tomorrow, I'll check out the battery and probably get a new one.

    Help! Battery???

This morning, my wife and I got in the 427 Vert for a club road trip. When I tried to start it, the engine spun over for about a second then stopped and it make a series of loud clicks with the lights flashing with each click. I tried the start button a couple of more times and got the same...

    Tires for Base C6

Did I miss the part where you described how you intend to drive the car? Unless you just have to have the Ultimate in summer performance, I recommend the Michelin Pilot all season tire like the A/S 3 + ZP. I'm a run-flat believer but I still carry an inflator with the sealer and I keep a...

New to the forums and Corvette ownership!

:welcome :w There is lots of information on the CAC in the Knowledge Base, Tech Center and the Forums. Check out the Crossfire Mine. I suppose you've noticed that the Z51 '84 has a pretty stiff suspension already.

    G Meter in HUD

Max "G" depends a lot on the radius of the turn also. An entrance ramp at 40-60 and .8 to .9 feels pretty good. 110 to 120 at .7 - .75 can get your attention. I've seen a little over .9 G's on selected turns where I have practiced plenty of times. When my wife and I do "open road races," we...

    Tires...

You didn't say what type of tire you already have on your '90. Do you have 285 tires all around right now? The '90 (except the ZR1) came with 17x9.5 wheels and 275/40/17 tires. So, you might want to use the 275 tire instead of the 285. TireRack seems to have plenty of 275 tires available.

    News: notice from gm

I've got a '13 and I got the letter. It's got 42k miles on it and I'm not smelling gas. I filed the letter with my owner's manual. Hope I never need to use it.
