Just how clean is your Vette? (Pics)

Z06nut, Do you think your cleanliness is genetic? If it is then I would like to know if you have a daughter that will be ready to be married in around 10 years? If so I'd like to arrange a marriage between my son and her. :D Bluecoupe

Great torque wrench storage advise guys! Does anyone know if using a socket extention and/or an adapter (3/8 to 1/2 inch) changes the torque wrench accuracy?

Congratulations... Sounds like an awesome machine. I love the many "moods" of the Navy Blue Metallic color. Now you have to hit the Mid America web site and buy lots of goodies for it. Enjoy! Frank (bluecoupe)

Why is there foam insulation around my battery?

Delco doesn't make then now. There are other gel types out there. Interstate/Optima, Exide Orbital, Advanced American Technologies (www.batterymart.com) also http://www.harrisbattery.com/automotive.aspx

    "Is 60k a lot of miles on a C5?"

If you buy a higher mileage C5 with a 6 speed manual be sure to set a few dollars aside for the eventual clutch replacement. A clutch replacement costs a lot for labor compared to a convetional car's setup. Tires are another high cost replacement. Aside from those you should not have any big...

    C6 Z06 Effect on C5 Z06 Values

I heard the same thing about the 1960, 1964, 1966, 1971, 1976 ... Just take a look at what a nice example of those years are going for now. A fully restored 1985 4+3 Z51 is looking pretty good to me.

    C6 Z06 Effect on C5 Z06 Values

The new Z51 option fills the price/performance gap between the "standard" C6 and the Z06. The bar has been raised. Anyone that wants the fastest, meanest Corvette won't have any problem justifying the extra expense for the new Z06. Those not willing or unable to justify it can still get an...

    Corvette as Daily Driver

A C6 Corvette is also one of the safest cars on the road. Full metal cage under the body, great brakes, run flat tires, bright headlights, tight handling plus active handling and ABS, acceleration that will get you out of a jam quickly. Well worth the extra money.:v
