I'm pretty sure that it was meant for them to not crash during the race. Blocking in the pits is just poor sportsmanship. I didn't like the fact that the crew chief (or whoever) the reporter was interviewing was laughing off the incident like it was all in good fun. I don't think there is...
It's sad to see NASCAR type poor sportsmanship rearing its ugly head in roadracing. I'd like to see some monetary penalties against drivers and teams that encourage this behavior.
Not much louder under normal driving but does have a different bark at WOT. They look much better than the chipped-up black paint on the stock C5 muflers. Z06 mufflers weigh much less and will outlast your car. For $400 or $500 bucks used they are hard to beat.
Keep the 17K and sell what's left of the Vette "as is" on ebay. Buy another one that hasn't been wrecked. Prices are low so you should be able to find a nice low mile cream puff.
I cannot find a heated mirror switch. Do the heated mirrors go on with the front defroster/defogger setting on the HVAC control or do they go on when you switch on the rear defroster?
Adjusting the handling for certain conditions is considered suspension tuning. Changing the vehicle height, wheel alignment, tire pressure, spring rates, shocks (or shock setting) and swaybar thickness will also affect the handling. This is also sometimes refered to in racing as the chassis set-up.
Actually there is a lot of truth in that statement. Letting it sit too much has its own set of problems including; fluid leaks, corrosion, rodents, mold and mildew. Just to name a few.
Thats my 2 cents,

Depends what you mean by better.
After reduced road noise and more power, the third thing a C5 owner stepping up to the sixth-generation Vette will notice is a nicer ride. A significant reduction in harshness was achieved with the new Goodyear run-flat's more compliant casing...
Get the Warranty. If something goes wrong you'll be very very happy you did and you'll save huge money. If nothing goes wrong (That is very doubtful.) you'll be a little PO'd you wasted a little bit of money.
IMHO Those two tone seats look like saddle shoes to me or those funny pants from the 70s with different color pockets. Stick with Black. Put some of those Wolf Bolster Bra covers on your seats. Find an auto upholstery shop and have your seat repaired.
