Not just exclusive to the C5. The six speeds in the C4 had some of it too. My father's 57 Chevy 3 speed even had the very same noise in 1957. Sounds like the gears. No problem though. Have a nice day. :)

I love that engine, but we don't live in 1967 anymore. It would be more than just bolting that in your std Vette. What about the computer, the intake, the exhaust, the sensors and other stuff that I'm forgetting right now? I've heard the computer is getting harder to mod.

Wow, that was good Heidi. Are you a psychologist? Are you going to the CAC Cruisefest? We will probably need a psych. there!!! I have had many Corvettes over the years and even some of them when I was young. I never bought them as a chick magnet. I drove the heck out of them in club events...
