Delco 12 disc changer mounted in the rear

If your Radio has a AUX button and a 9 or 10 pin input in the rear it will work with a CD Changer (Delco). Many GM radios and GM cd changer form different models are compatible. There are some aftermarket interface harnesses availible to allow a kenwood (or others) cd-changers to work with a...

    Oil Burn

Yes. Most Corvette C5s use some oil. Read this article: http://www.c5registry.com/2k2z06/page5.htm and this one too: The accepted rate of oil consumption for engines used in the vehicles referenced is 0.946 liter (1qt) in 3200km (2000 mi). This rate only applies to personal use vehicles...

Delco 12 disc changer mounted in the rear

I have one GM CD-changer 16199553 out of a Cadillac that I was going to use but I never got around to installing and running the wire though the car for it. It tests fine. Has the 12 cd caddy too. Unit looks good except for a scuff on the plastic face but considering it mounts inside the cargo...

    Not for nothin', but ....

I think if you compared the "bigger" Corvette forums and websites to CAC you'll find that a larger proportion of CAC members actually own a Corvette and in quite a few cases they own or have owned more than one Corvette. I also believe, based on the informed discussions here, that CAC members...

    Jacking points?

Take a look at Hib's article: http://www.idavette.net/hib/C5diy/c5diy1.htm This one's pretty good to: http://97vette.com/howto/carlift/index.html Also the GM shop manuals have a section covering it.

    03' passenger window won't operate

Sorry, I do not speak German. I do speak computer. I did a search on "Happy Days" "german" on www.yahoo.com Many word in German and English are very close so it was easy to see that the web site had some good information. After 24 years in the computer trade and 11 years on the web I am able to...

Show a picture of your car!!

Nice photo. Great use of light and dark. Very sexy. That is my idea of customizing a Vette. Adding a bunch of shiny (heavy) show parts is not as cool as making it go faster and handle better.

The Internet is great for sharing this sort of trivia. Look at this site for Happy Days information in German: http://www.epguides.de/happy.htm

GM - Here is what we think of the License Plate Mount

Tape, screws or bubble-gum it is still one ugly design. They had it right on the C4 and C5. Why mess with perfection?

GM - Here is what we think of the License Plate Mount

The C6 front plate holder is held on with double-sided tape. You know you have a really good design when the parts are held on with tape. Jeez.. what were they thinking? :eyerole Maybe GM will improve it for 2006 and plate will be held on with bailing wire.;LOL

    03' passenger window won't operate

Fonzi...The Fonz... From the TV show Happy Days. He would punch the juke box and a song would play. He could punch a car (or anything that wasn't working) and fix it. http://www.tvtome.com/HappyDays/

    Urethane or Fiberglass Rear Bumper

Fiberglass. looks cool, nice and smooth, easy to paint, cheap to repair or replace. If you smack up a rubber bumper it still needs to be stripped $$$ and "special" painted. $$$ If you crash it you will get lazy and live with the wrinkled rubber bumber because it still looks "pretty good" and is...

    Hood light switch

I am going to put one together myself. I'll post photos when I finish it. I was planning on building this since the beginning of the winter because I don't like that hood-light turning on when I go to put my Battery Tender on the car. It just seems counter productive and an unneeded load on the...
