    Question: Replacing Tires

You are not alone. Looks like I won't need to worry about it since I'm sticking with stock tire sizes.

    Question: Replacing Tires

Would that reprogramming of the computer trigger any warranty concerns similar to alterations to the stock tune? ("Warranty concerns" meaning that GM may be able to deny work under warranty due to the reprogramming?)

I have about 17500 mi on my 06Z and the OEM Good years and also have significantly more wear on one side of the tire than the other but the wear is not nearly as bad as yours.

    C4 prices; new variable here...

You will need to be very patient if you are waiting for C4 prices to go up - actually I don't think they will for at least 10 years, probably more like 20 years. If you want to hold a car and wait for it to go up in price you would be better off selling the 89 right now for $7-8k and buying the...

Need Advice on Price for a 2003

If it has a warranty it would be worth more than one without. e-bay prices may only a good measurement if you are buying the car on e-bay. Even then the location of the buyer and seller can skew the validity of the comparison. Buying from a local dealer is significantly easier and much less...

    N.O.S early C4 parts.

I agree with bucket ... Z51JEFF tell us what you have and prices. Doesn't make sense for everyone to make requests. If we wanted to find something we would just post a WTB thread.

The offsets are the same at 56mm. No difference between those 88 89 wheels.

C4 Wheel Needed: My niece bent one of her Vette wheels and is looking another...

The wheel is 17 x 9.5 x 56mm. Easy to find. Often for sale on this foum in C4 parts. If not post WTB and you will certainly get offers. Also e-bay, Craigs list, etc. Keep the center cap for the replacement wheel. A wheel in similar conditon (without the curb damage!) won't be very...

C4 Wheel Needed: My niece bent one of her Vette wheels and is looking another...

Yes, throw out (or re-cycle) the wheel and keep the center cap and emblem. The wheel is not worth the cost of fixing. You can buy these wheels used for not a lot of $$$ and they are pretty easy to find. (e-bay, craigs list, corvette web sites, etc.) I think Zip Products used to sell the emblems.
