    Black ZR1 replica rims

not sure about black on black - i'd have to see them. the polished lip will help offset with some contrast. one thing that will help is to paint your brake calibers red (JMHO). i have a similar problem on my silver 85 - i bought a set of (AFS) direct fit silver zr-1 wheels (silver on silver)...

    Satellite radio

i installed a xm roady2 in my 85. the antenna is a small 1"X1"X.5" and i used 3M double sided tape to mount it to the roof section, (i guess you call it the "B" pillar halo) between the hatch glass and the "glass top". i mounted the receiver unit with the vent mounting kit to the air outlets in...

    Removeable Top Z06

agree! first, people think that just because the top is bolted on, it's an easy mod to unbolt the top. the top is bolted on to compensate for the manufacturing tolerances of the piece parts and sub assemblies that make up the overall frame assembly. something on the frame has to have bolts and...

    7.0 Liters or 427?

...should be an easy one. 427 domestic, and 7L for exports. simple matter of 2 different fuel rail covers!

    Correct Vinyl Dye?

i re-dyed several parts in my 69 green/green's interior. i went to my auto paint supplier and they mixed a pint of SEM interior dye. worked great and the finish was semi-flat.

    (FWIW) co-worker just heard...

not sure about this, but i thought an LS6 crate motor was about $7500. i also thought i read on one of the forums that an LS7 crate would be available for about $15K. now there's a $7500 delta. if you take last years Z06 price at around $53K, the 2LZ option package, polished wheels, and $3-5K...

    Z06 owner feedback

i don't have any shifting problems with my 04z06, but it only has 5K miles. a friend of mine has an 02z06 and he indicated that after he changed the fluid, the tranny shifted better and smoother (FWIW)
