1977 wasnt exactly the high water mark for Corvettes, so its very unlikely you can sell the 77 for enough dough to buy even a 6 cyl Camaro. If that was my "Classic" and I really liked it, I would rather trade it towards a higer performance Corvette than a 2 ton Camaro.

Another log on the fire... I think C5s were the biggest detachment form the previous years Corvettes simply because the driving dynamics were changed more drastically from the C4 to the C5 than between any previous generations to the next one. Its part of the reason why so many C5 drivers...

The LT1 would be rated closer to 350HP in the old pre SAE days. The stiff suspension in C4s (and a good amount of low end torque) is mostly to blame for the rear coming around or the tires breaking loose if you gun it in a turn. This is one of those things thats a little more worked out in...

You really need to get to the track and make some practice runs. A C5 auto driver only has to release the brake and slam the gas down after the last yellow - Doesnt matter what all the magazines report or past owners of similar cars have to say, without practice its very unlikely you will...

There are photographed examples of whats called "Streamers" rising from the ground to meet the main lightning bolt, but the main energy is still generated above ground......... Hard to imagine any electronics surviving a lightning hit.

I guess you didnt really price too many C5s. So you are paying other people to work on your car and you know it better than anyone? Do you mean you know where the money went better than anyone maybe?
