i was wrong...i just looked at one of the frames i have and the two vins are only on the drivers side of the front frame...one just foward of the shock towers and one towards the thick part of the frame where it curves towards the firewall...sorry

there usually are 4 on either side of the front frame rails...i think its the last 6 or last 8 of the vin...if i remember correctly they are etched in the frame rail in front of the shock towers [on the outside of the frame]....and then there should be 2 more back where the frame gets real thick...

i am finding that these calcualtors are all over the map....my car is 2420 with me in it and i have only 3 passes on my new motor...it ran a 9.76 @ 137 mph.....every calculator using that info has predicted a different horsepower...anywhere from 577 up to 668 horsepower at the flywheel,and...

probably the easiest way is go to your search engine and punch in "engine calculator"...this will bring up alot of sites that let you punch in weight/mph etc...to figure out aprox horsepower and et...the only thing is these calculators are for ideal conditions and dont take into account track...

hello i need a pair of exhaust manifolds for my 1966,327 corvette...i dont care if they are new or used in good shape...application is 327,no power steer,no a/c,no a.i.r...and they need to be 2 1/2 pipe size...the current casting numbers that i need are left side/3846559 and right side...

why dont you just get a little dirty,jack the car up and look on the bottom of the pumpkin.should be printed right on there.you might have to dust her off a bit but why guess when the info should be easy to verify with a jack and a rag jen

if you read skants post it says one axle whined and the other did not........sounds to me like one of the axle bearings might have been bad or damaged when removing the axles for the gear change....but for 1 axle to whine and the other not to dosent sound like it has anything to do with a gear...
