Allow SO or spouse to drive your vette alone?

I agree. The only one who can drive my Vettes is my wife. She is the only one I trust. She drives the C4 in summer time. She races the C5 at drag strip. She likes beating the mustangs and any other cars. I could even say that she takes care more than me !

    Question on beating this Lightning

There a guy coming at track with it. Not sure if this is a 2001. This supercharged truck is really fast. I never really paid attention to the details, but it beats a lot of cars. I would not be surprised if the truck is in front by 3-5 car length. I hope I'm wrong and the driver will make the...

Broken latch that secures top while in hatch

I changed it several years ago. What I recall is that it is easy to replace and cheap. Just call the GM dealer. I broke it again a few month ago

anyone have problems with new tires and the pressure sensors?

I agree. The tech did it a few times without removing the sensors. But, I remove them most of the time since it takes only a few seconds. The best advice I can give is to remove them to make sure they will not be damaged.

anyone have problems with new tires and the pressure sensors?

If you do not want the shop to damage the TSP, make sure the mechanics drops the sensor in the tire before removing the tires. Install new O ring for the sensors. And reinstall the sensor just before reinstalling the last tire side or wall to the rim. Not sure if I’m clear on the last step, but...

help fix PO171 and PO174 codes please

That could be an air leak. Additional air comes to the system making the PCM believe it is too lean. Check clamps and connection.

pull key wait 10 sec. after K harness install

If that can help you, here are the new developments. I stopped to fill the tank this afternoon. When I started the car, I get the ‘pull key wait 10 sec’ message. Without stopping the car, I take the multimeter out of the center console and connect the positive terminal to the green wire and...

pull key wait 10 sec. after K harness install

A lot of the relays were found to be defective. I ordered my 3rd one today (not installed yet). If you really want to make sure the relay is the culprit, check for ground on the green wire (circuit 1601) when ‘unlock’ or +12v when ‘Lock’. That green wire is the one that sends the Lock-unlock...

    oil pressure sender

Hello, I'm new here. My first post. I replaced the sensor a few months ago. In addition to the above instructions, remove some coolant. Also use the attached torque sequence. No need to remove the fuel lines. You need a deep 1 1/8 socket. That was easier than I thought. Here is the link to...
