This is exactly what I did with my Goodyear runflat several years ago. If the plug starts leaking whats the problem it is a runflat.

I don't know how good or bad the Volt is but i am very happy it is a Made in The USA car. Why bash it? I for one will take a wait and see attitude.

Runflats were offered as a option starting in 94. I had them on my 95

I have 24,000 on my 04 and the only problem i had was the rear axle seal leaking.

I have a Z06 lid on my 04,fits with no problem. I don't run a K&N fillter just a standard paper filter. I am not sure but I think any C5 Z06 filter lid will fit. Chuck

The 77 has a bladder in the tank. It should not be a problem if you are installing new lines.

I have 2-1/2" duals with no cats. Stainless pipes and mufflers. Have been on the car for 23 years and look like new.

Gary do you have a seat belt warning buzzer. Plugs into the right side of the fuse block. I don't know if the 75 is the same as a 77

How low does the tank go before this light comes on?
