I think all of our 73s on here have cracked noses...very common with the old urethane covers.....Im going to replace mine this year with a fiberglass one...Not stock but it fits better, no waves and wont crack after time....They cost around $250 to 300 plus labor and repaint....not a bad job at...

Stand behind the car and look at the tires.....Imagine a 90 degree angle straight up from the ground.....The tires should be straight up and down..also check the tire wear on the outside as well as inside edge of the tire.....if it is worn then that could indicate worn supsension parts at worst...

It was not supposed to introduce a "ram" effect. The door was supposed to use the low pressure area create at the base of the windshield to introduce cooler denser air into the air cleaner. Instead of having the air come up throught the radiator hence warming it up and then into the induction...

A 2 1/2 to 3 inch high filter that is 14 inches in diameter would work fine on a 502. Use a drop base to maximize your height. The filter tops lids are great but watch out for the fire hazard from what I hear dont know for myself jsut what Ive heard.
