Rat Race.... You did not hurt anything...rev limiter/computer cuts off-retards several things like fuel pressure, timing and so on...the 'gurgle' sound you mention is just the computer 'saving' your engine from over rev-ing... As far as the ticking sound you are hearing, this is audible on...

It ain't that bad....do what I do, bring a teenager with you to operate the optional stuff while you steer and hit the gas!! ;)

These 'Z51' emblems are fashioned exactly like the current GM C6/Z06 badges...the distorted appearance is really the camera angle, but the 'scroll' effect above the '51' part of the emblem is the '400 HP' script as the Z06 emblem has '505 HP'...it does make the appearance alittle confusing to...
