Clearcoat Blister I got hit very lightly on the belt line at the rear drivers side corner:mad . It made a scuff mark on the belt line which polished off ok. But it also caused the clearcoat to lift up like a blister just about half the size of your little fingernail just below the belt line...

That must be a weak spot. That's exactly the same location and shape of the crack in my lens too. It really is amazing the info you can get here!

Moon, How's the road noise on those tires? Those are the tires I want and it's hard to tell from the charts if they are a lot quieter than the GSC's. I think they look awesome, and I am a loyal Goodyear guy from the rubber city (Akron, OH - - Goodyear Headquarters).

I see posts about stripping the aluminum wheels... After stripping them, do you have to re-coat them? Do they oxidize or pit if you don't? Does it mean you have to spend more time on uncoated wheels to keep them bright? Thanks!

Like Wraddad said - I had that noise too - solved it with a piece of electrical tape folded over on itself and slid between the clear gauge cover an the black dash piece. Mine was over the tach area. Really only heard the noise on cold days.

This made me wonder if the top edge of the windshield might hold them. Although it would then be necessary for them to face backward. They could rest their feet on the top of the seatbacks. Whether you then drive the parade in reverse is up to you. :(
