I've searched for a spare for my 67 w/original tub and I've come up with a compact spare from a late 90s S10 pickup with a 16x4 tire.. my question is this for a 4x2 or a 4x4?? I've been told it makes a difference..
Thoughts??
Thanks

So if I have my wife push the gas pedal all the way down and I observe the linkage, should I be able to manually open the linkage any further?? I'm trying to determine if I'm getting wide open throttle from the pedal.
Thanks
Jim
I sure hope GM is reading this..BUT it's too late anyway..
Maybe all these early prototypes are just being released to make the real thing that much more exciting when we finally get to see it. GOSH I HOPE SO !!!
Owners manual said with filter..
Got it off lift and ran a few minutes..
Let it sit over night and it registered right at full (with 7 quarts)
I've read on a Z16 forum that many Z06s did in fact take 7 quarts w/a filter..
I think I'm all set..
Thanks all
I drained the oil last week and then noticed the parts guy gave me what I thought was the wrong oil filter.. PF46E
By the time I found this out the store was closed. The Z06 sat for almost week draining. Come to find out the filter was correct, just a changed filter number.
Today I put filter on...
I purchased a complete magnaflow system 2 years ago for my 68 BB from Corvette Central. I've been hoping over time that they would break in and sound more throaty. Is there anything I can do to these to make louder or does anyone have a suggestion what would bolt up directly and give me that...
Tom,I was there on Sunday and didn't see many vettes go through, lots of 30s and 40s. Did see a gray 63 split window go for 48K.. Which looked like a good buy. Guess friday and saturday were better days for muscle cars. Looking forward to seeing the auction results. This was my first time at an...
My 68 still has its original front end parts and its feeling a little sloppy, and want to put in new rubber or poly.. lots of choices on where to order from. Any happy customers out there?
Thanks,
Jim
I did Tom, amazing the price they want for them. I even had a responce from the NCRS forum that gave me Tom Falconers E-mail.. I did have a member come back w/ a book I'm buying.
Thanks for responding,
Jim
Does anyone know where I can find this book? It's no longer being printed so a nice used copy would do. It's very pricey on amazon. I've also posted this on the NCRS site as well.
Thanks,
Jim
Could it be a bearing.. w/ the car off the ground w/ the tire on do you feel a wobble in the hub? Just another option.
Thanks JohnZ, i just learned something about my disc brakes.
