I've searched for a spare for my 67 w/original tub and I've come up with a compact spare from a late 90s S10 pickup with a 16x4 tire.. my question is this for a 4x2 or a 4x4?? I've been told it makes a difference.. Thoughts?? Thanks Jim

So if I have my wife push the gas pedal all the way down and I observe the linkage, should I be able to manually open the linkage any further?? I'm trying to determine if I'm getting wide open throttle from the pedal. Thanks Jim

Owners manual said with filter.. Got it off lift and ran a few minutes.. Let it sit over night and it registered right at full (with 7 quarts) I've read on a Z16 forum that many Z06s did in fact take 7 quarts w/a filter.. I think I'm all set.. Thanks all

I agree.. Just surprised it's going to take a full quart more than the owners manual recommends. Guess I really drained it dry.

My 68 still has its original front end parts and its feeling a little sloppy, and want to put in new rubber or poly.. lots of choices on where to order from. Any happy customers out there? Thanks, Jim
