    Barret Jackson -- 98 Indy 500 $100k!!

Hey guys- Yes I have one of the 1163 Pace Car replicas made in '98. According to all the hoopla I've read (and that's a lot!) the only additions made was the strobes and rear hatch cover, and the 5 point harness. Yes, only 3 were made like that and one is in the museum in Bowling Green. They...

    Why not On-Star?

Going back to an earlier post with the accuracy of GPS. It was said +/- 10 meters. In 2000 military grade signal was approved to be used for the public, so they can tell where you are to +/- 3 feet. The military used this to keep exact tabs on their machines on the battlefield. Onstar has the...

    C6 tires on a C5

C6 will have 19" rears and 18" fronts, so the tires will not go on the C5 wheels. They may bolt on, but I would doubt there would be ample room for suspension travel. The Autoshow starts today!!! I'll be going to see them this weekend!!

Just last summer replaced the stock battery in my 98. It was leaking a little from the terminal though, probably caught it just in time before it did serious damage.

    C5s check in please..

I remember it like it was yesterday........ It was December 1999 and I was working in FtWayne and living north of Detroit. So on the ride home I stopped in a Vette resale shop and saw a pace car with only 20 miles on it. Still had the plastic on the seats. It was love at first sight! I did...

Holley ls1 intake I have seen the Holley ls1 intake at the Autorama show here in Detroit. Looks pretty, but seems heavy. I wasn't able to compare side by side, but the aluminum seemed heavier than the stock.
