bbibbs- My one tire pressure monitor doesn't work, just haven't gotten around to changing it. When it was first going bad it would give me "low tire pressure" and "flat rl tire". Now it just comes up as xxx pressure and never sends the messages. It does say to service tire mon. system though.

Is thre any trick to getting a tire pressure sensor to work, other than recalibrating?? Three work one doesn't. ;shrug Are there different sensors for different years, or are all c5's interchangeable??

Atmmac- That seems weird. The first detent on your headlight control stalk should be your parking lights. THis shouldn't pop up your lights. At this point your fog lights can be turned on and off by the button on the dash. Something seems wrong.

Rob hit it!! Rob you're right on track with your comments about the dedication and resolve of the Corvette designers and engineers. When you see something that looks wrong, or designed poorly you can bet it was tried a different way and for some reason just didn't make it to production...

Vettegirl- My '98 is EXACTLY like that with the traction control on. Just like the old carb vehicles. Makes me flip out every time I forget about "the fun governor" (traction control) being on.

Something funny.... . . .. Even years ago when I had my '86 Dodge Shelby I called the dealer to see what kind of fluid to put in the 5 speed manual trans. They said use Dextron II ATF.

tire ripoff..... I went to Discount Tire ( a local big chain) and had two tires mounted and balanced that were looose and I dropped off. They charged me $100. ;shrug :bash

hey Jim- Check out the 98 Indy Pace Cars too. I absolutely love mine. It's a good eye catcher at the shows and on the road too. They aren't exactly popular either!!

Used to be on chevys that if your taillight fuse burned out your dash lights would go out as a safety measure so you would check them.
