Test Driving a C6 NOT Allowed at Dealer?

Excellent story. I like the way you operate. The final step would be to take a photo of your vette and make a copy of the paid sales receipt, and mail it to every bozo who treated you badly. Ah, sweet revenge :D

    Flippin Roof Recall

Gersh, I am really glad you finally got it straightened out to your satisfaction. Still, it must be very hard not to be bitter about the whole thing. Tammy

Should I get the extended Warranty - 03

I bought an extended warranty for my 02. It saved me twice the price that I paid for it (about $1300 it seems for an extra 5 years and 40k miles) in one trip to the dealer to fix a few things (one of which was the electronic braking & traction control computer). Yes- I would do it again- but...

So...how many of us take our Vetts out if it is raining?

The only problem with driving it in the rain is that it gets really nasty. Of course, that's not a big deal if its really nasty to begin with ;) I prefer not to drive in the rain, but it usually doesn't stop me. Tammy

    Recommendations for a bike

My God, what a monstrous wheelie. From midway through 1st until well into 4th :eek A busa seems like a bit much for a first streetbike though. 4 years and 4000 miles later, my suzuki sv650s is still mostly enough for me.

Ticking noise and heat from console.

Welcome vetteman77- the tunnel heat you are probably going to have to just get used to. The ticking... c4c5specialist will be the best one to help you diagnose that. Good luck...hopefully it will turn out to be something easily addressed. Tammy

3 helmets, 2 jackets and gloves!? Wow. That stuff is not cheap. Well done. Just remember- don't be a squid- wear the gear (even when it is hot) and don't forget to get some boots too.

    Recommendations for a bike

I must have missed this thread before... congratulations. What color is it? Post some photos... and be careful out there on the streets. I had my first contact with the pavement on Friday (the 13th). Just turned over 4000 miles. Luckily the damage was light. Tammy
