Hi Jon,
The only problem with leaving the radiator in is the extra weight on the front end. The fenders will bow out at the top of the fender lip. You'll need to add some support to the nose when lifting. Give me a call if you need a hand.

Matt,
The heavy duty strut rods will bind in the bearing supports unless you do some grinding. I sell the strut rod bushings for $12 each and the correct reproduction strut rods for $38 ea.

Hi Wade,
On the interior pieces Wilcox can't be beat on his prices. Everything comes from Corvette America and ACC carpet. Be sure to check his ebay specials.
The suspension, brakes, and mechanical I can definitely save you money.

The rear bearing supports were changed in '75. Along with 3" halfshafts and larger strut rod bushings. All new replacement supports resemble the '76's but are based on the '75-'82 design.

Matthud,
I can rebuild your differential for you. I have thirty years experience and references. A standard rebuild costs $450.00. It includes:

New crush sleeve

National seals
New GM cross shaft

The lower shock mounts lock into the bearing support. It's best to drive them out with a good air hammer. There's always a chance of breaking the support with a hammer. In many cases the shock mount rusts itself to the strut rod bushing. Sometimes you have to sacrifce the strut rod to get it...
Docmac,
Mityvac's won't work on 4 piston calipers. It will draw air forever. There should only be 2 bleeders on the rear calipers at the top. The bleeder at the bottom pointing downward should be a plug. Don't open it while bleeding the brakes.
The pressure bleeder is the best way to bleed the...
Thanks John for saying what I wish I could say. Earlier this year he had threatened to take me to court for what I had posted about his business dealings. And you're 100% correct about finances. It started the day I stopped working for him and paying his bills.

Here is another potential source at Duntov Motor Corporation: http://www.fastcorvette.com/ We saw their car at Wakins Glen recently. I don't know if they sell individual components or not but it might be worth a shot.
I'm sure they will sell you individual pieces if you can get them on...
I'm not sure exactly where it goes but it is a support for the wiring harness. There is a plastic holder that presses into the small hole that is taped to the wiring.

The problem with those calipers is they don't replace the pistons. The pistons corrode more than the bores. When they originally started selling rebuilt calipers they didn't have enough cores so they were putting new overseas calipers in the boxes.
Would anyone be interested in a CAC caliper...
