I'll go first. Wiper door not fully closed. It's never just the tach cable. Right rear wheel. In both pics rear corner is high. Does he have the compressor brackets? Wrong air cleaner. Front bumper doesn't match body on LF corner. But it does have speed warning. Mike

    I can't get my T-Arm out!

Pull the rear cover off and check the gear pattern, stub axle end play, and the cross shaft for being loose. On the trailing arms spin the spindles 20-30 times and check the bearings for play. I can't seem to load pics so I will have to email them to you. Mike

Unscrew the chrome button on top of the shifter. There should be a spring under it. Mike

    I can't get my T-Arm out!

Dave, You might want to reconsider before using them. I did all the rebuilding for them until 11/04. Many people have had a problem since then. I can build you a set of arms for less money and higher quality. A few members I have done work for: George Black Zwede Chumpzilla Blackdog 78SilvAnniv...

    Found: Excellent C3 Mechanic!

Thanks Patrick (George), It was a real pleasure working on the vette. It is definitely one of the finest 73's I've seen. I can only compare it to Bud's L81 when driving it. Not sure which one I was more nervous about driving. For the members who don't know me I started my own Corvette business...

    1972 Convertible worth buying?

This is always a touchy subject. Here are my thoughts of values. They are just my opinions, not validated proof. 1. original bb engine numbers matching 2. bb nom 3. bb car no engine 4. bb car with 350 engine. Mainly due to extra cost converting back to bb. On the other hand imagine if Bob...

    Which code scanner?

Chris, They stopped making them many years ago. I would start by contacting Sunpro. After that try the tool trucks: snap-on, Matco, Mac. Also try some repair shops. Scanners get updated/replaced every few years and the old ones get tossed in a drawer. Is there a specific reason why you want to...

    Which code scanner?

Chris, 81's and Cali 80's use a different ALDL connector. They should have an adaptor for the 82-95 scanners. Mike

    Motor mount replacement

Usually the ones around $20-30. Many companies sell these mounts and are wrapped in a bag marked "Made in India". I'll do some checking and see if I can find a good deal for you. Mike
