The ones he has sent have all been rebuilt by the owners, interiors ripped thru, etc.
Model he has his eye on now has had a 7000r transmission put in it - 1988 model I believe.
Buddy of mine is shopping hot n heavy for his first Vette.
He keeps sending me these 84-89 models that tend to have a few things replaced/rebuilt but still need some TLC.
Typically have 120k miles and are in the price range of 4-8k.
What does he need to avoid?
What options should be look for or...

Me, I spray on the simple green and then a light spray from the hose.
Then lots of towels.
But this engine was 9 years old before it got its first bath, so Ive got an uphill battle

If youve never pulled the entire center console out of a Corvette, then you will be a bit cautious.
Otherwise, you wont have any fear and will have it all out in 5 minutes

Just put a used set of those on Susan's 96 last week haha - I like em alot.
picked em up here on the forum real cheap - in C5 sizes.. since she is currently rolling on the wagon wheels.
Susan wants to go back to Stock on her 96.
Sawblades are sittingin the garage, naked as the day they were born.
