Beware, you need a working column lock for the CLB to work. Even if you install the bypass, the PCM will continue to cut the fuel to the injectors. You need the dealer to reflash the PCM first then install the CLB.
Thanks JB,
I was happy that I still had this pic. of my can install. I emptied the can every 600 miles, or approx. at 1/4 full. Every two oil changes, I would also do a Sea Foam treatment just to keep the intake manifold, head intake/exhaust ports and combustion chambers clean. The can seemed to...
PCV valve stays connected to manifold. Remove hose to the back of PCV valve and place it on the catch can inlet. Outlet of can connects to the PCV valve. (The catch can sits inline before the PCV valve.) Hopefully you can see it. Valley tube to PCV goes on the can inlet. Can outlet to PCV.
My wife thought it was my imagination until she saw it for herself first hand behind the wheel. She could not believe it. Now she gives it some throttle and makes her own space.
I agree kenmack. I think that people see how Corvette owners care for their cars. There is an underlying sense of glee at the thought of one being destroyed. If there is any death involved, people assume that excessive speed definitely was the reason, regardless of the true circumstances.

I just received my Feb. issue of Vette magazine. On the featured procharged ZO6 build by MTI Racing, it indicates Jesel shaft mounted rockers on LS7 heads. ;)
Yes, congrats. It must have been very exciting when that truck pulled up. :upthumbs Nothing compares to when that rear door opens and there it is!
Enjoy!!
I'm not a big fan of the stock pushrods at all. The only thing I would personally do is maybe think about replacing the stock pushrods with a 7.4" chromemoly pushrod from COMP. Model # 7955-16. The price should be around $125.00. This will ensure that any visit near the rev. limiter will be safe...
Cam, pushrods, springs & locks $1000
Long tube headers. $1300
Fast 90 Intake w/ LS2 throttlebody $1000
You'll need heads, so save up more cash.
With a good pair of heads, you'll be pushing +500 crank hp.
Boy I spent that like a drunken sailor. ;)
Like I said before, I've seen oil at idle being pulled up from the oil valley tube into the can. (clear tubes, transparent). If the catch can wasn't there, it would be pulled into the intake through the PCV under vacuum. Not only oil is pulled, moisture as well at start-up.
Here is the way I look at it. 14.7 psi. is considered atmosheric pressure, or 1 atmoshere at sea level. This is the MAP sensor reading with the engine off.
Anything less than 14.7 psi at sea level is considered negetive pressure or vacuum pressure. An engine at idle should have a MAP pressure...
The Viper Sniper made it into Vette magazine. I had the pleasure of seeing and talking to the owner of this awesome C3 in real life a few years ago at Hillcrest Chevrolet in Salem Ma. at their annual show. Congrats. on making it into Vette magazine. I enjoyed the article. There was no mistaking...
As far as I can tell the BCM 0432 is your rear defog circuit relay and the SDM U1040 is a loss of communication with the TCS traction control system. If you had your battery disconnected, or PCM fuse pulled, you may produce this SDM code.
I would check the rear defog for proper operation and try...
