    factory invoice

If you're talking about the window sticker then I would suggest going to www.window-sticker.com. I have had them recreate window stickers for just about every car I have owned and I have them framed and hanging on my office wall at home. Hope this helps ptuner11.

Should I Change my Valve Covers?

Stallion, a good source for finding what your looking for is the same place that you found this place. The internet! All those manuals you need are available from all the major aftermarket Corvette suppliers like MidAmerica, Ecklers, Corvette America, Corvette Central! Yeah, you could...

    Odometer...want to start new

I really think that you need to check with your own local DMV department to see what their policy is on doing something like that. Remember, just like gun laws, no 2 states are the same!

    Winter Driving

Nope. I don't drive it in the winter anymore. I did when it was new, because it was more reliable than my daily driver at that time. But now, I don't need to, so it stays in the garage, clean, waxed and under the covers. In about 2 weeks, if we get some break from the cold weather, I'll fire...

    ..and bad luck continues

You're welcome. No, it's an automatic. I am the original owner.

    ..and bad luck continues

LIBoater, There is a company here in the Chicago area called, Lectric Limited, and they manufacture all sorts of wiring harness for all year Corvettes. Now I checked their 2002 catalog and I did not see a listing for the wiper system, but it could be part of a larger harness, not by itself. I...

    Original Car Alarm

That is my understanding of the ignition interrupt feature. My aftermarket system has that feature built in too.

    Original Car Alarm

Woops, forgot this little tidbit. I checked the lastest edition of The Corvette Black book and although it didn't mention the actual function of the alarm system, it did state that the system was upgraded to include an ignition interrupt circuit. That means that when the system is on or...

    Original Car Alarm

That's cool. It should also protect your t-tops too. Give it a try when you can.

    Original Car Alarm

Well, could be, I don't know about the 81's. To test either theory, roll down your window, hit the power switch and close the door. Then reach in through the window and open the engine hood. If the alarm goes off, then it arms just by hitting the power switch. If it does not go off, then...

What to do with sound in my Vette

I checked out that DIN bezel replacement. I'll bet it's metal. The later C3's, 78-79 are plastic. Could be a problem where the mounting holes are located on the different year cars.

Nice job page62. Looks like factory.

    Original Car Alarm

You must be locking your doors with your key then. On my 79, you must lock the door with the key or if you hit the power lock switch, then you must insert the door key and turn it to the left to set or arm the system. I don't ever use the key to lock the car. That's why I got power locks...

    C6 Pictures

Artist concept drawings are one thing and real photos are another. Motor Trend can dream all they like. I haven't seen anything of their design ever make it to production in the last 30 years. This from the magazine that voted the Vega the Motor Trend Car of the Year!

    Headlights..

I am sure that there is an adjustment to raise the headlight panel up to fix that problem. Unfortunately, I don't know the exact answer. But from studying mine in the past, the headlight assemblies seem to ride on a suspension system with springs that control the opening of them, so as to not...

    Vacuum Canister

The way I understand the headlight vacuum system is that the engine must be running to actuate pop-up function. Manifold vacuum is used to acutate those round gold devices under the hood at the front of the car. They will work immediately after the car is shut off, but the system will have...

    Protect my Leather Seats

I thought they were called Seat Savers, but I am not completely sure. If you have the lastest Mid-America catalog, I know they are in there. That's where I got mine. They really are the only ones, other than the wool skin covers, that I know of. They are about $70 a set.

    Protect my Leather Seats

Yes, I think they look quite nice. Maybe not as nice as the look of the leather seats, but without them, they won't look that nice for long. I guess it comes down to what you personally like. I like them. If someone else doesn't, oh well! I know that my buddy doesn't like them, but it's not...

    Parts on my Vette

Another great source of useable information is the Corvette Black Book. For its low price you can't beat it. I highly recommend one for the serious Corvette owner. (no I don't work for them)
