Gerald helped me with our 96 a couple years ago. only bit of advice, when pan is dropped and you are replacing the filter, sometimes the ring/spacer thingy gets stuck up in there. Some shops will just shove the new filter in on top of it - we worked for 2 days to get mine out - haha...

The original owner of this car did not install the pressure sensors and I am tired of hitting RESET each time I crank her up. So I purchased a set of sensors to install and am now getting word that some folks had no problem with the fit and others had to epoxy or use a band to attach the sensors.

Just ordered a set of early C5 TPsensors and got word today that there might be an issue with installing them on my HRE 547 wheels. (20" rears, 19" fronts) Any truth to this? With the madness and long lines due to Hurricane Katrina around here I'd hate to get the car up on the lift, remove...

for what its worth, I used Bright Aqua Metallic body paint (touchup) from Wal Mart on Susan's C4 (I wanted the calipers to match the body) and there has been no problems in the 2 years it's been on there.

I know what you are saying. (it was the AC Delco paper filter) And filter alone does not make my car go faster.. but when I hit the gas, it goes from 45-95 twice as quickly as it did with the paper filter. High RPM response is like night and day and thats the only way I can explain it. :)
