Hello, I got an 8 inch harmonic balancer to replace the failing harmonic balancer on my vette. But I didn't think that there would be different sizes. Can anyone tell me if my new 8 inch can replace the stock harmonic. Its a 77 l-48. Thanks

I just got my leaf spring in today that I ordered from ebay. It is from a 76 (7 leaf spring). Didnt think about this but mine is a 77. Will the spring still fit. Im pretty sure they are all the same but just want to make sure. The spring is the same width. 2 1/4 Never did this operation...

Drove mine straight pipe on an 8 hour trip. Thought my ear drums were gonna blow up after awhile. It got annoying especailly when your doing 120 for a long time. Also got pulled over and a warning slip for noise pollution. It's fun to do once in awhile but not for long trips. Gotta love...

Thanks for all the help guys. I tried bench bleeding it and there does not seem to be any pressure in the rear chamber. The brake fluid almost shoots out in the front chamber but nothing in the rear so im guessing the seals are busted. I just ordered a new one should be in tomorrow.

Ok i tried to bleed the master cylinder while it is still attached to the car. The front compartment has lots of pressure but still not getting anything out of the rear. Gonna try bench bleeding which most likely wont work. Then its a new master cylinder I guess.

Hi, I just lost all of my rear blake fluid in the master cylinder from a rusted line. Replaced all of the brake lines and bled them but now rear brakes dont work good. Should I bench bleed the master cylinder Im thinking maybe air got in there. Or any other ideas on what I should look for...

Thanks for the advice im gonna the water thing and see what happens. I know for sure its not a vacuum leak because I can hear it scream at 40 mph and I have sidepipes. Propably the alternator.

When I rev up the engine I have a high pitch squeel coming from the engine area. Cant pin point exactly where it is coming from. So i changed the belts and it is still there any idea what or how to pin point the problem thank you very much. Thinking either power steering or alternator.

I checked all the vacuum lines. And no evident leaks anwhere. Im pretty sure its something to do with the high idle cam. Because If I let the engine run for awhile and then push down on the cam it disengages. Almost like it's getting stuck or the carb is screwing up some other way. Any ideas...
