Change Oil: 0% Oil Life or 3K Miles?

As to the oil change I have been going a 20-25% life left. Frankly I can find the prior posts that recommended going with 25%. Is this too conservative? :confused Tom

EXPERIENCES WANTED: Driving a C5 Corvette in Winter Conditions

I drove my C5 all last winter. Never had any traction problems with the EMTs. Of course I wasn't pushing the gas pedal to the floor. Deepest show was about 3-4 inches. Here in Maryland we don’t get much snow, but we often have to deal with icy roads.

C4C5specialist: Thanks for you offer of help, but I don’t think you want to tell me what all 35 codes mean that on my car’s label. As I was typing this reply I remembered to look in my Service Manual and guess what’s on page 0-14, the complete list. Sometimes my brain is just not working...

    Tire pressure/temperture question

In general, you will loose about 1 psi for every 10 degress drop in temperature. With a good gauge check the tires cold ( Less that i mile of driving) and keep them at 30psi. Good Luck Tom

    Really dumb question!!

Not a dumb question. Let me try to explain how I see it. The velocity of 103 or 105 MPH is the speed at which the car is traveling at the end of the quarter mile. Time is how long it took, so simply the car with the 13.4 had a faster average speed over the 1/4 mile distance than the 13.6 car...

    Service Column Lock

Rocking the steering wheel backand forth very hard 4 or 5 times without the key in the ignition worked. Only had to do it once. VIN is between those numbers. Why is that important? Tom
