You may have to arc the shoes to get them to work well. SS shoes don't fit well. Also, keep in mind, Vette e-brakes sucked when new. Don't expect miracles.:D
Just follow the instructions with the unit. Follow "static" protocol when transfering the prom. You have to remove the battery to change it . I take the top off to help get in there.:)
Good to know history. Delco also made the generators for the Model T starting in 1919. The generator bearings in my 1923 Model T are identical to the bearings in your 1981 SI alternator. If it ain't broken,....................:D
NEVER buy a rebuilt carb. Rebuild yours. Get the kit and do it. NAPA has the M/C solenoids and TPI sensor. You need a couple special tools, and you can do it in a day.
Guys, Engine parts are engine parts. Why go to a vette vendor?
