Hey dude, I used to have trouble posting pictures, now I just use my ISP's free personal website and upload them there. Then I go to my personal website, right click on the picture, then the pictures web address is displayed, either write it down or highlight the address by clicking your mouse...

never liked the C4 all that much, so what happened to me?

I agree, when the C4 first seen the light of day, I didn't like it as much as I do now, but that is how classic designs usually go. Also remember that the F-bodies of that time had the same "aero" design influences. It was the first time GM used function over form in the design process...

GM - Here is what we think of the License Plate Mount

Maybe some dealers are just using the tape, but my local dealer pointed out to me the dimples on the bumper where he would have to drill through. Maybe they have changed the mounting process since the first batches were produced?

    Looking at an 89......

The pictures look good, if it is as good in real life as these pictures show, it does look like it was taken care of. Check for overspray in areas that are hard to get too, that will tell you that it is repainted. Take it to a Corvette mechanic and have him run it through the normal tests...

    Mini-me

Hi Craig, I did look up the Franklin Mint 86 Convertible but I didn't them that much. The problem is that the angle of the windshield is not as laid back as the real vette. I did find an other 1/24 scale 86 converts that look better, and allot cheaper, but it's going to be hard to match the...

    Looking at an 89......

The reasons that I searched out and purchased a 1989 vette are... Last year with the Star Wars dash. First year with 6-speed The L98 engine is one of the last engines that the average Joe can work on. No optispark disasters! I love my 89! Click on the picture of my vette to go to my website to...

GM - Here is what we think of the License Plate Mount

The day I brought my Vette in for service and discovered they had a new C6; the dealer in my small town told me that he wasn't going to install the front plate unless the new owner instists. He said that he wasn't going to drill into the bumper to install that ugly thing, and I agreed with him. :ugh

I just want to fit in

I have to agree with the others, check out a convertible. I'm 6' and 280 pounds and I have about an inch or two of head room with my convertible's top up. I do have a problem seeing traffic lights when stopped at intersections though. :eyerole

    New Wheels

Very cool! I just purchased the same kind of wheels from Tomswheels on Ebay and they look awesome too. I'm looking for a good tire shop to purchase the tires from. Congratulations on your choice.

    New tire time...need your advice

Per the 101 Projects for C4 book, you can place the jack under the frame rail right in between the wheels and jack up the whole side of your vette like they do in NASCAR. I used to own a Pontiac Fiero and used to jack the whole side of that car all the time, it was so quick and convenient that...
