If you are pretty sure the stereo issue was the trigger to your problem, I would first check all your fuses maybe blew a ECM or injector, ignition ect fuse. If ok I would replace the ignition module:beer
I replaced them on my 75, bet there the same. The hose comes out in the rear wheel opening. If you pull the wheel and look straight in and up you will find it, It however does not look like a hose hanging out, it has a half moon shaped cover over it
Did it run this way before the mods? Or did this happen afterwards? If afterwards, I would look for a cracked spark plug or valve alittle to tight. Also if it is a vacuum problem ypu can fog some carb cleaner or propane into the carb. If the engine smooths out you have a vacuum leak. If it bogs...
Yeah, it can to a certain extent, usually not a very noticable difference. What happens is the engine is pulling in the exhaust into the engine thru the air cleaner. This air has a certain amount of hydrocarbons in it and the engine will run a little rich. I had a ski boat with a enclosed engine...
You can do just the pads if you want. Turning the rotor corrects lateral run out and your brakes will last longer. Remember just because the rotors look smooth does not mean they are true. Only a dial indicator will tell for sure. I would turn them if it were mine. just my opinion
On My old 75 the black was coming off. I stripped them, polished them and added spinners. I thought they looked nice. Heres a old picture. Maybe you can tell from it?
one of two problems. 1 your choke isnt closing properly. 2 your accelerator pump isnt shooting gas in when you pump pedal. Since the carb has been apart there are many causes for this problem.
sounds like you most likely need new hydraulics. Fluid does not necessarily leak to the out side. What happens is the fluid leaks around to the backside of the rubber cups internally causing the pressure to bled off. The way I bleed these here at the shop is as follows. Remove cap off master...
