    Need info on a '56

A Cascade green / beige with power windows, 2 tops, all 'original' except the engine was a 59 passanger 283 recently sold here for $55000. It was a decent nice car with a powerglide automatic. New owner just found the correct numbered engine and is spending more money.

1959 Corvette - Princess Grace of Monaco

Needs a Monoco DMV Search It may sound stupid, but the Monoco DMV may have more records than we think. Friends that have retrieved cars out of Europe have found remarable records of vehicles at the local and country DMV's. You just need a friendly local to help you do the leg work.

    Poll color to paint 63swc

A good friend who said " I WILL NEVER SELL THIS CAR" just went thru the wrong red color problem. He feels it cost him $15000 at the sale. Then he said, "We are only caretakers.......why did I change what was original on the car?" In his case the car was a survivor........that he just had to...

    Last 1960?

iT'S A WINNER !! What condition and options are on the car? Great care should be taken to document the body and car in restoration. After all, it is the last car with the rear end that was basically used for 5 years from 56 thru 60.

Hooker side exhaust and Rocker panels

Should fit with no cuts The area where the exhaust exits the engine bay on the lower leading fender edge is the only area that was cut at the factory for factory pipes. And that was to give more clearance for:puke 'heat' blistering paint and fiberglass. The biggest problem with headers is...

Barn find, need help with Block numbers!!

VIN #7229 was made on Wednesday, April 12, 1961. So the original engine was probably dated somewhere around April 1- thru 3, with a casting of C250 ( Friday, March 25, 1960) Note that Flint engines had only the last digit for the year, where Tonowanda blocks had both numbers (0 VS. 60) See if...

Barn find, need help with Block numbers!!

B560= February 5, 1960. So the engine is a 519 block 283cu inch, with a "D" code already answered. It was cast at the Tonowanda, NY foundry on Feb 5, 1960. As previously stated, Corvette only used Flint, Michigan engines. This will work to get you from point A to point B...........but the NCRS /...
