I was looking into crates (Dreamin) and ran across HT383's and ZZ4's and such but anything good seems to have fine print that says for 1976 and previous...
Im guessing they have no outlets for sensors and perhaps the heads have a different port shape and such..
I have a 1985 and I want to end...
Without my capacitor hooked up Im good for around 5 minutes time...
If my car runs at idle the alternator actually can't keep up and I'll lose my battery with the car actually running. With my Cap hooked Im ok but I think I still have to address some other power robbing problems as well.
Guess...
If I were you I wouldn't change the color.
Painting under the hood and doing the jams is really where alot of the money is spent via massive masking and detail work.
If your simply wanting a fresh paint job (Like what I did) stay with the red. You can alter the shade a bit and the jams will...
I get at least 2 of these a day. I ended buying a Snap On filter wrench that looks like a 3 finger claw that work off a 3/8 ratchet. Work great and there has yet to be a contender for it.
Bout 20-25 bucks..
GOT IT! Now it makes perfect sense to me thank you all very much!
So Im looking for a 45 series tire as to keep the diameter the same and 255 front and up to a 315 for rear but from suggestion 275 or 285 is a good choice.
And yes with the earlier C4's we have a wacky offset so I will require...
I thought the 255 part was sidewall height and the 50 part was thread width?
I really don't want skinnier tires :)
Cause I see the 255/45 R17's have the same exterior diameter as 255/50 R16's (That seems odd to me)
So whats the 255/50 R17 tires measure out to?
Ok currently I have 16" rims with 255/50 R16's on
I WANT to go
Y2K Rim so
17" all the way around however if I stick with 255/50's the exterior diameter is going to be to big for the car by an inch..
So I need help determining a tire size to make up the extra inch of treadwall.
Also Im...
Personally I LOVE my Bosch +4's and I use Bosch P's on all my other cars (Even previous)
Im also I diehard MSD fan so I got the Red 8.5 wires from them as well.
For the masses? We have had BAD LUCK with NGK's and V Grooves. So all we carry now is AC Delco's and we've never had a come back from...
OMG YES!
The shop where I work (as a mechanic) DOESN'T and if and WHEN you spill oil's or coolant on the concrete, they will saturate into the concrete and will be there to stay
Two reasons why this is BAD
Looks Gorgeous! (Sarcasm?) Lol
and
It will become very slippery. You constantly have...
Mine were to but on the lip (Where the bra ends car begins) Its usually hemmed over with means tight vinyl on the car. Thats where crud gets trapped, if it wasn't for the hem the bra's are great!
I got an idea for you today at work. If your driveway has a decent incline:
Back your can into the driveway
Use low rider car ramps
Driver the car on
Set the E brake and leave in gear (If standard)
You can do this anyway but with the incline that car would probably sit level!
AND probably...
Truly they are not needed. I have started my car well below 32 (Freezing) with NO issues. I think the only difference (and it may be in my head) was an extra 1 or 2 crank from the starter...Minor
Its really not worth getting into a mess over I just disconnected it.
Its kinda like Coolant...
Personally physics work a little to well
Murphy lives in my back pocket?
Gravitys a Bit%h?
If you push the car or bump it those stands might teeder over causing less than desirable damage.
Im not a bra fan especially on these cars...which we hold so dear with finiky fibreglass paint jobs..
Id rather take the single rock chip Vs dirt building up in the lip of the bra and scratching up a 4 foot line across my hood. Ive had bras low and high quality and the only difference is...
I'll throw a vote in for black smoke..
COLD START INJECTOR! Its leaking they are discontinued and they are just about worthless disconnect it. Had the same problem on mine.
I think your guy knows what he's talking about. Especially with a Z06 Id be careful using "Drag" gears because of sacificing the streetablity of the car. Id listen to your guy man.
Im a MSD fan also! Great service, Great product, Great performance gain bang for the buck, and Great fuel mileage increase.
Probably one of the best mods performed on my car.
Have you checked the injectors? I know you have done pretty much everything up to them but have you actually checked them?
Another thing is throttle body cleansing?
Could the old prom be doing this as well?
Shes gonna BLOW! better list that car for sale bud (Make sure you let me know first!) LOL
Nothing all oil has to make the same requirements as by law. We got a standard pushrod engine thats a little to similar to a truck for my tastes ( What can I say ZR1's dazzle me ) but the advantages are...
