I think the chambered exaust is what I'm after. But a couple of questions. I was looking at www.madvet.com and their setups. I didn't see any sign of it, but the chambered exaust needs no modifications right? It should bolt right onto my '78...?
And what headers would be the same deal for...
It's looking like in the near future with a little time and money that I'm going to start putting some extras on her. First off I'm thinking exaust. Not so much for performance, but for that unleashed classic Chevy sound. Performance is considered, but loud and bassy exaust is what is wanted...
Best thing to get for problems like these is the Assembly Manual for your year. It tells where every nut and bolt is, as well as everything. Definitely a great investment.
Would, say a stock size 15x8, bolt right on with no need for modification? Is the offset and everything perfect for our Vettes? Or is there something we would need to do to fit these Cragars on.
Is horizontal good? I thought our IRS was designed and is best at a certain angle. I mean, it would make sense that horizontal would be fine, such as a solid rear axle, but is this true? Would you be eating up u-joints with 180 degrees from half shaft to diff to half shaft?
Well wouldn't this be based on the height and placement of the drivetrain? I don't see how a different spring would help that out in a similar ride height, correcting the half shaft angle problem. No?
Unless you hear any grinding or feel anything of that sort, I would say that it probably isn't the brakes if it just rolls down and pulls right without any brake on your part. Sounds like steering to me.
How does that make sense?? There is little amount of air collected in the filter and once that is used up the carb has to suck the remaining air through the filter. How do you figure?
Wow. Good luck with that. Nothing scares me more than a project that is...under the dash!! It's just not a place I like to work with. Nothing ever seems to fit back to the way it was "before I took it off". Good luck!! :D
I just use ebay to look at the cars I love and to get a feel for the market for the models and years. It is actually interesting to follow some of these cars.

Unless this dude has done a LOT to make a '78 look like an early '80s Shark, then he is dead wrong about the year of his car that he's selling. Am I wrong? How can somebody think their...
So when people say that a big block puts out more torque than a small block, it really has nothing to do whether it's a big or small block...? For instance, this 472 is a small block, but has more displacement, so it would probably put out more torque than a 454 big block. No?
