    CAGS Eliminator

nicare, welcome to the cac:CAC. i'm totally with you on this one. i've had my cags bypass for a few months and love it...you're right, it really lets you concentrate on the enjoyment of driving the vette, instead of worrying about the cags all the time. my previous vette was an auto and...

thanks for the info. i'm going to head up to carlisle on the 23rd and hope to get lucky and find the exhaust up there...no shipping charges this way. i really like the way they look too, and i'm not really looking to go much louder than stock. i also love the fact that they're titanium...

    Which year C5 to buy?

ferl -- welcome to the cac. i have a 98 six speed and it's awesome. i have not done any mods to it at all, but probably will be doing some soon. i'm a fan of all corvettes, and all c5's for the matter. it really depends on how much you want to spend...newer is always nice, but if you want to...

    Z06 Exhaust

hey snow, i'm totally excited to see this post:J :J. i just put up a question in the c5 mods forum asking about putting zo6 exhaust on a 98 c5, since i'm considering this very same modification. it sounds like you're really impressed. did you buy the mufflers used? how's the...

i'm in the very early process of planning an exhaust upgrade on my 98 c5. i'm torn between corsas or saving a few hundred and going with the zo6 exhaust. has anyone put the zo6 exhuast on an ls1? did it make any difference? how was the sound? should i fork out the extra 300 bucks for the...

    engine question

ken -- would the 454ci that your refer to be accomplished by taking a small block engine (ex. 350) boring the cylinders and using large volume heads? so. since the 350 falls into the small block catagory, am i to understand that there is no such thing as a 350 big block? i have a friend who...

    Paint prep for license cover

since my last post, i've checked out several other body shops. highest was $80 and the lowest was $40. i think the guy at the first place was really trying to yank me. maybe when someone comes in with a corvette, they "assume" that you're willing to spend more money, and try to take advantage...

Do you have satellite radio installed?

i'm hearing a lot about satelite radio and the concept sounds really cool. however, i don't plan on getting anytime soon, because i can't get used to the idea of paying $10 per month for radio. i know your question was directed to people who already have satelite, but i thought i'd throw in my...

    Paint prep for license cover
