i'm at work and don't have my vette with me, but i'm pretty sure that the instructions for programming the keyless entry are in the owner's manual. if they're not in the owner's manual, let me know because i have them somewhere.

not really sure what to do about the window. i just ran out to the garage and i see the holes that you are referring to. however, i don't know what they do.;shrug
i'd try searching the forums for window adjustments and see what you can find. i've found that to be quite helpful in the past...
i find the cags on my 98 to be a nuisance sometimes, but not all the time. it really depends on how i'm driving the car. if i drive it hard, i never invoke the 1st to 4th shift, if i'm driving it mellow, it can be a real pain:mad. i'm going to be ordering the bypass plug pretty soon.:w
the way i see it (and more knowledgeable people can chime in at any time), is that it's clearly an erroneous reading. if the car was really experiencing 128+ oil pressure, it either wouldn't be running or it would be very noticeable if it was. my car is running/performing fine, so until i get...
the roof problem is an easy one. i had the same problem when i bought my c5 a few months ago. the tension on the front handles needs to be increased so the roof has a tighter fit. pop off the little plastic pieces on each handle and that will reveal a hole big enough to stick a screw driver...
i'm still cruising around with the pressure at 129. my buddy's coming down from new york for memorial day weekend so it'll be about a month before we try it. it doesn't seem too dificult, just labour intensive. i figure if we set a side a whole day, we should be good to go. i'll report on...
i've got a buddy coming down on memorial day who has a lot of chevy engine experience. i think we're going to take a shot at it. if i remember from another post, c4c5specialist stressed how important it was to replace the manifold gasket, use locktight and torque everything to correct specs...
la vett -- you're not the only one. looks like i've got the exact same problem with my 98. i'm thinking about doing it myself, but it looks like there's a lot to screw up around the intake manifold...anyone got an extra $360?;LOL
i try to drive mine as often as i can...especially now that the weather's getting better. yesterday, i was cruising around with the top off enjoying the 75 degree weather. today, there's two inches of snow on the ground;shrug ;shrug ;shrug
i can't wait for summer.
i haven't had my vette for very long and today i had the opportunity to wash it. when i got done and started to pull the car into the garage, i noticed that my left foot was slipping all around on the aluminium clutch pedal. the bottom of my shoe was wet from washing the car.
has anyone else...
my 98 is going to remain stock for now. probably, in a year or so, i'll end up putting a new exhuast on it (b&b or corsa), and maybe some bolt on's to make it breath a little better. as far as outside appearance, i love the way it looks as is.:cool :cool
i need to buy some jack pads. i've noticed a few different ways to go...plactic, steel, an insert that replaces the tray on a hydraulic jack. has anyone had any experience with any of these? any advice would be appreciated:cool :cool
congrats on the new vette. i know what you're feeling, i just got my c5 a few weeks ago...i love the car.:_rock :_rock
i was 24 when i bought my first vette (86 coupe)...i remember everyone at work thought i was dealing drugs on the side:duh...it just takes dicipline and a good savings plan...
the vette is now at 79%...followed :L by the 911 which is at 5%...a pretty wide margin if you ask me. once again corvette blows away the competition.:r
i totally know what you're feeling. i bought mine 5 days ago. c5's rock:_rock :_rock
congrats, i think you'll be keeping this one for a while.:upthumbs
cka_racing,
i've always wanted to check out old dominion. lived in manassas for 5 years and never been out there. when the weather get's a little better, i'd love to get the vette out on the track and see what the car (and i) can do:eek . can't wait for spring time.:_rock
