    If you have a painted, fiberglass targa top and it is properly adjusted it makes the car much quieter. During the summer I put my see through top on and there seemed to be squeeks and rattles everywhere.

    Possibly a voltage surge. Check both battery terminals and the positive connection on the alternator. Make sure they are all tight and not corroded.

    52 mm throttle body, aftermarket free flowing exhaust, check fuel pressure, plugs, wires, and make sure she is running correctly. My biggest gain came from new Bosch injectors, the old ones were SHOT. If you are looking for 400 hp it requires porting the heads, Headers and a cam.

    Try entering the car from the passenger side. If it starts you have a problem with the wireing in the drivers door. Possibly the connection at the key lock.

    Google "WCFB carburator" and you will see a site called "carb doctor". He has a free download on your carb. If no gas is getting into the float bowls then it has to be either a plugged strainer stuck needle valves or improperly set floats.
