My guess is there is a short in the drivers door wireing where it articulates as you open and close the door. If it was the fob the battery in it would have gone dead pretty quick.
Yea Junk, every one I can find. And I have the bloody knuckles it required too. 2 by the bell housing,one behind the battery and one from the air conditioning by the passenger inner fender. Do you know of any others?
Today I checked the throttle body shaft for play. When closed it seems solid. When open half way it wiggles about .020...not good. Should have checked it better when I cleaned it. New one, 52mm is on order.
Engage and release the hand brake a couple of times. If it never gets used it might need some exercise. You can try disconnecting the Negative battery cable for 30 seconds and see if that resets your computer and the light goes out.

Here is my 2 cents worth. It sounds like the master cylinder is not releasing properly. That can lock up the brakes and cause these symptoms. After the brakes cooled down they finally released.Try bleeding them out and see if it helps.

If you are hearing the selonoid when you push the lock button and the key wont lock the door then it is probably the lock itself is gummed up. Take the panel off and see what is hanging up.
