The old nickel trick...I have a movie of it from idle to around 3000RPMs...If the nickel falls you need a tune-up :D

Yes to both... if its a small head gasket leak you may only see a white vaper from the tail pipe, also you can check the plugs look for a very clean one... best way to check is to run a compression check. Steve

If you see a pic from the rear look for the black fillers between the back up lights and the tag..if none no ZR-1

Best of luck to ya..I would like to see the pics as you do it...Ben, is working on another C1 now and has done 2 C2s with C4 frames & running gear..a 67 using a 96 LT4 & a 64 or 65 Grand Sport using a 91 ZR-1.. Steve

9 Quarts let it drain 2 hours...I use 10w30..Mobil 1 Full synthetic, I'm sure 90 & 91 came with Dino-oil not that I would use it.. Just got home and checked my 91 says 10w30, Im not sure when they started using Full synthetic maybe 92 or 93...maybe someone has changed your oil fill cap?
