If dehumidifying is your biggest concern you want the unit to run alot when it is cooling so you don't want to oversize the cooling unit. Since the biggest size they make in a pthp is around 14000 or 15000 btu for the area you are trying to cool dehumidifying should not be a problem. However if...
Sounds like you have a decent amount of insulation. You could always add more in the ceiling if you need it. And glue some foil backed insulation board to your garage door. The cheapest way to go would be to install a package terminal heat pump (pthp) like you would see in a motel room. The...
Your location and intention of use for your conditioned garage will determine exactly what you need. Assuming minimal insulation and the sg ft you gave I would not go any larger than 2 ton heat pump with 10kw auxillary heat. That will give you approx. 60,000 btu's of heat for a quick warm up and...
That's interesting when I got my 82 there was no bulb or circuit board in place for the low fuel. But now that I think about it I found something that looked like that lying in the rear compartment all busted up.

We did see the one proteam had. They emailed us some pictures today.
The appraiser finally showed today and it looks like the car is officially totaled. I posted some pictures of the car at this site. So I guess this is the end of the story.

I have agreed value insurance on this car in an amount that I will be able to replace the car and have some money left over to spend on any upgrades it may need. Now if I could just get the appraiser to show up at the body shop I could end this story.
Although The car was not my first choice when we bought it, it had really grown on me to the point were it was always our only choice when it came to cruising. The car received alot of attention wherever it went. It will really be missed.

I remember when you got yours not to long ago. If...
...Part two
The officer came over and explained that the other driver was being cited for failure to yield and dui and that he was being placed under arrest. He handed us a copy of the report as the tow truck pulled up, traffic on the highway was stopped as the truck pulled into position and...
Our nightmare began several weeks ago on a beautiful Sunday evening cruise. We were returning home from a club cruise along Florida's Gulf Coast. We had stopped at Seaside, Fl. with several club members for ice cream after dinner. The t-tops were removed and the windows rolled down as we crusied...
Here's some info on programming your tire sensors
The Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) system interfaces with the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) through the serial data line. Once the program mode is accessed through the IPC, each sensor's unique identification code can be programmed into the...
This can be a very bad idea. If it is a fairly new house it will be tightly sealed and the ac system is going to be very closely matched to the design heat gain of the house. Even if you have extra capacity in the system your going to have to keep the door in the garage open to the rest of the...

Bobchad might be right. I don't know how good the tool is but my cheap 10" screwdriver was begining to bend as I tried to manipulate the spring. I only had to do one spring.
Tom
I had a screwdriver laying around that appeared to be bent in a similar fashion as the installation tool. So I just ordered the spring. It was not hard to install I got it on the second try. However you will need a tool with that bend on it.

It's a whole lot easier using a hand operated fluid pump to refill the tranny. You can pick one up at any auto parts store. I think you need a 26mm allen wrench to remove the plugs.
