I think you're confusing your manual Transmission fluid which is Dexron III ( or you could use a synthetic equivilant )and your rear end fluid which is SAE 75W-90 Synthetic Lubricant + Limited Slip Lubricant GM P/N 1052358

If you're planning on a two post lift and if the slab where the lift will be placed has not been poured yet make sure the concrete is 3000 psi and a minimum 4 inches thick preferably 5 inches.

Wait a minute. Maybe it is normal if the air was off when the computer memorized the setting. To test it set all the controls seat position, mirror and radio. Push and hold the # 1 memory button till it blinks then turn the car off remove and reinset the key hit the #1 button and see what happens.
I recently did this on my 82
Remove the drivers seat. (four nuts under the vehicle)
Remove the rear speaker on the drivers side.
Roll down the carpet and push the insulation out of your way.
The grommet that the wires go thru should be right behind the speaker.

GMPP General Motors Protection Plan. Of course your car must be within the orignal warranty period to get this extended warranty. They are available online if you do a search.
This is a great question. My service writer wanted me to buy the GMPP warrenty and mention his name so he would get a cut. But I wound up buying two online saving close to three hundred dollars in sales tax alone. Now I feel bad that he got cut out of the deal. Maybe I should send him a...

The after market filters like K & N use an oil coating to help collect the dirt. If you use to much you can get residue build up on your MAF element. Using a good greaseless electronic cleaner on the element once and a while will keep the element clean and functioning properly.

I would go with one that has air already in place. Even if you convert it to 134A it is still much easier than starting from scratch. Just buy the best condition car you can afford.

The Silver Green is still available. My wifes car was just repainted this summer. I've got some left in the can for touch up but I would have to run up to the shop to see who made the paint. If I remember I'll look tomorrow.

It's been a long time since I've driven in that city and I can only imagine that it's gotten worse. But if your comfortable driving your Camaro there I don't see why the C5 would be any problem. My car is a six speed and I really love it but in that kind of city traffic I think it would...
Well I pulled of the windshield molding. It looks like it was a good idea to get the rust now. The steel is layered near the top of the frame and moisture was getting in between these layers. But I got to it in time to stop the rust before any real damage was done.
Thanks for the input

I removed the plastic interior trim from around the windshield frame when I discovered this smaller than a dime size spot of rust. The spot is right where the windshield meets the frame in the upper corner on the drivers side. The rest of the frame that I can see seems fine. However there are...
