Jeff,
I have been asking Mike Zoner since late last year. In the 08 brochure they show them with the DD advertisement. Mike stated they were reviewing production costs. I have since sent a couple of other notes on the forums but no other response. I hope they decide to offer the slates.
Chris,
I think tentatively with the crew on Thursday, June 12th. I told Mike Z and V we would be paying a visit. Brothers and sister with 4 Vettes!!! We are really looking forward to it.
Luigi,
Really enjoyed your C16 story. That is going to be a beautiful car. I hope we continue to get pictures of its build. I am going to be in Old Lyme in early June and maybe it will be done before then?:)
Brandon,
Thanks for the photos-look like you had the entire situation in hand with the lovely ladies. Dallas can be a pretty good place to see some sharp cars. Until a year ago lived in Frisco-visited last weekend and there was a little car show in a Tom Thumb lot. They had Ferrari's-Vette's...
The guys at Old Lyme did a great job of working very hard to eventually get the wheels from Dymag. Mike Zoner and Mike Vendetto went the distance with our Callaway dealer in the Chicagoland area-Bill Stasek Chev. It really presents a whole new appearance and thanks for the comments.:beer
Luigi,
I watched the video on YouTube and I thought you did a fantastic job. The photographs were amazing and I enjoyed your commentary. Excellent job-you are a good ambassador for Callaway Owners Group.
I believe this is another example of the "Callaway fever" name recognition that is catching fire. The products exposure is almost in everything you touch that says Corvette. I think it is important we continue to monitor these type of situations to protect the real "Callaway Corvette".
