    Question: Battery tender option

I've been closing the hatch tight on the cord since my 2005. No issues on the 3 C6s or the Stingray.

Car and Driver Sheds More Light on the Mid-Engine Corvette to Come

Car and Driver does not have a good track record of predicting future models. I'll believe it after an announcement.

    GM corvette rebates

The dealer will know if he cares to check. GM makes that information available to dealers in real time. GM's brand websites have the special deals listed by region/zip code to the general public. They are not real-time, in my experience, so it's best to verify. The volume dealers know the...

Wider summer tires of the grand sport

My C6 Z06 and GS were good year round cars AFTER I got rid of the OEM Super Sports. The factory tires were as worthless as you might imagine on the road during heavy rain and when the weather turned really cold. After changing to an all-weather tire I had no problems in rain, cold or very...

    Question: Braided Hose Cleaning

I've seen detailers use Brasso on a wet rag to polish stainless. The water keeps the Brasso from caking in the weave of the hose, but still polishes the visible surface. Be careful not to rub the anodized fitting and connectors. The Brasso will remove the color.

    a/c

Chances are it's the diverter flap in the ac/heat duct work that is stuck. It may be as simple as a loose vacuum hose. Do research on-line to see if anyone has posted a YouTube or other how-to. If all else fails get, or borrow, a factory manual.

I'm not exactly sure what you are saying, but if everything is working, and nothing comes out of the vents, it may be a proportioning valve or vent diverter flap. Does the hot air go out the top vents?

    No, seriously: What to buy???

I think the C5s got better every year - for what that's worth. My 03 was a much better car than my 98, in every way.

    C7.R Edition - 6M versus 8A Production

It's a world wide shift to automatics. Many high end sports cars and super cars don't even offer true manual transmissions anymore. When an automatic outperforms a standard transmission in 0-60 and quarter mile times, a lot of folks will opt for the automatic. A lot of us are just lazy too.
