    Dang! could this be true

Say what one will say, but I like a car that feels and drives like a car. I believe I must have learned from the feel of seat of one's pants driving. I actually believe that the automobile manufactures have gone to far in the luxury arena for most people. What do I mean by this? Too many...

    Tire plugs on Z06?

Thanks Tammy, I will look into this. Hell at 7k thats probably approaching about half of the tires life anyway. I believe these tires ar eusually normally only good for about 20k due to their softness. I know I have put on about 10k since I purchased the Zed Nought Six.

How old is the "average" C6 buyer?

Well if plotted left to right, probably on the far left of the curve, and you must have done something right in life. Many of us others have had to work long and hard to attain what we now have, which if analyzed is probably a significant contributing factor to the high percentage of over 50...

    Tire plugs on Z06?

How about board members opinions on this? I do not believe the nail is leaking and I drove over 100 miles yesterday and the tire had no problems. I am thinking of just pulling this nail or screw out. I suppose if I pulled it out and it did leak a can of run flat would seal it enough so I...

    Thanks for the welcome

Hopefully all will work out, this is a first step and second maybe, joining CAC, obtain a 79 Corvette, and I do not know about this? :upthumbs

    Active Handling Warming Up!?

Active Handling Question? I received this message the other day, first time I have seen it. I had just finished driving about 25 miles round trip. The temperature was in the mid 70's Fahrenheit, sunny, dry roads. I stopped to gas up, filled up, and left. I was there maybe five minutes or...

    Tire plugs on Z06?

Can the stock Goodyear tires used on Z06 P295/35ZR18 be plugged as they are not run-flats, naturally this is the rear tire. I have a small what looks like a nail or screw in my passenger side rear, yet I still have considerable tread. I am not for sure it is even leaking as I put a drop of...

    Someone get me a TOWEL!!!!

I think I will hurl with you, :puke The prices are getting beyond ridiculous. I will even admit that if one is the seller, they probably really enjoy it, but, for the more average user the multimillionares and billionaires are super inflating the market.

If you've got the gift as a photographer...

Not to change the thread, but where has the Rowdy1 been? Not many post from him. And after looking at the picture, it made me wonder, just how many miles does the Rowdy1 get to a set of tires? ;) :L

    [News] Corvette Museum rebounds strongly

Does CAC have any plans for this? I would imagine a hotel room would almost have to be reserved now.

    Z51 badge on a C6...yes or no???

Instead of stripes like I have, just get someone to make some big stripes which could start from the front and taper off on the rear which state Z51 One could have the "Z" on the hood "5" on the top and the "1" on the rear. Z-5..1 The lettering would be centered naturally

So what is the big difference between the 1967, L71 & L88

The L-71 was sold in a few thousand and was listed at 435 HP while only 20 L-88 engines were sold and listed at 430 HP, what gives for the difference in numbers? And 67Heaven here is another addition for your back in time link for 1967. I went into the Army at the ripe age of 17, thus I never...

    Pop the trunk

Maybe Tammy has started on some winter med's and changes are happening. Who knows? I do not believe we really have to worry until when she walks her knuckles are dragging the ground. We might need to coax her off the med's then. ;) :rotfl
