    DI DI will come later so the 2009 buyers will have a reason to move up. you can't give all the goodies at one time or you will have no repeat buyers. i know as i have owned 11 new corvettes and if there had been no improvements i would still be driving my first one.

    if the oil temp is not within 2 degrees and the fuel within 5 degrees you can not get accurate comparison between the 2 engines

    all you C-5 owners say that because you have never driven one. i have owned 3 C-5s and 2 C-6s and there is a BIG difference. the C-7 will be a 2012 model

    C4 advantages over C5?

    the repair costs and the insurance more expensive on a C-4 are higher than a C-5 because the C-5 has bolt on fenders and a MUCH cheaper to replace hood. i found this out from my insurance company when i bought my first C-5.

    i have run laps at poconos in my corvettes and it is damn fast if they let you run without a pace car. have fun but be careful.

    make sure the oil temp is within 2 degrees and the fuel temp is within 5 degrees or your dyno test will not be a reliable comparison

    built a few myself into dirt track engines back then. GM sold a lot more L-88 engines over the counter than they sold in corvettes.

    contaminated clutch fluid

    don't get any fluid on your paint because it will screw it up so be careful. my clutch smoothed out at 1,000 or so miles

    it will not fit your LS-2. the LS-2 has the valve built into the block inside the filter area.

    the oil filter by pass valve is now inside the filter not built into the filter adapter like all previous SBC
