    Starter reinstallation issues

I'd recheck the wires. Way back in the 60s, I hooked up a starter wrong so it spun the wrong way, not sure if its applicable in your case or with newer vehicles; just a thought.

That crossed my mind, too. Might invest in a battery this weekend (have had the car 15 months, no idea how old the battery is), along with cleaning the grounds. Appreciate your reply, thank you

Could this be a 'grounding' issue? 99 C5

I went out to my car 60 minutes ago, got in, bumped the key (normally cranks and starts immediately), let off the key, no start. Turned the key off, retried and got nothing (no crank, silence). Pulled the key, opened the door, something seemed to reset (heard a click) so I closed the door and...

    Need Help, Security Locked

Absolutely no idea if this works, pulled it from another web site. 01. Turn the ignition ON (The radio displays LOC) 02. Hold down the Radio Presets 2 and 3 buttons for six seconds 03. The radio display changes from LOC to a three-digit number. Write this number down. Don’t take forever...

    Daylight Running Lights

Thanks all for your thoughts/comments. Looking at the DRL lens, I do see a small crack so maybe that is the issue. This last bulb went after 2 weeks and I didn't drive it in the rain. When replacing bulbs, I checked for corrosion but there was none. Was trying to avoid taking the DRL out to...

    Window inoperable

Which way is the proper way to go?? New regulator and motor (~$100) and just install a new motor (~$50). The few vids I've seen are for option 1, where I've seen just installing a new motor seem to indictate the motor is riveted to the regulator and needs to be drilled out for replacement. Lots...
