    Need a RAP circuit

Thanks, C4C5. I discovered flipping the latch closed would trip a sensor. What I want to do is hook a satellite receiver to the RAP so it will stay on like the radio. Any idea where I can connect? (Got room for a c6 tat?) Thanks, Jim

    Need a RAP circuit

Is there a Retained Accessory Power circuit other than the radio/CD fuse? The extra hot/accessory/ground wires in the fuse box is a great idea but the accessory wire is not a RAP. Do any of the unused fuse slots retain power? Also, how does the dang car know when a door is open? :confused...

Summer Time & The C5 is Traveling

I'm envious! I hope someday to be away from the business for more than a couple of days at time, and the Navigator really wants to do a New England tour. My dream drives are to follow the coast to Key West, and to see the Western national parks. Have fun!!

Summer Time & The C5 is Traveling

Hey Remo, can you New England guys face South and give big Corvette waves...to send some of that cool air this way. It was 99 degrees with humidity in the high 80s-low 90s here yesterday and man that was brutal. No top off cruising 'til it cools a little.

    Removeable Top Z06

Dave Hill said it would be "major surgery" as the top is bolted/bonded on and the car would be a flexible flyer.

Check out the white water rafting on the Ocoee and Nantahala...almost as much fun as a Corvette on a crooked road! :D

    Locked Out...for 1 minute

If for some unknown reason shaking the car doesn't work, don't try using a wire to fish inside the door (guaranteed to cause damage). Instead, use the wire to poke the key fob and wake up the system.

    Truely Amazing product!!!

I saw a guy selling RejeX at Bowling Green and was tempted....but I've got about $80 in a sack of Zaino and still don't seem to have everything needed :eyerole Let's have a report on whether bugs rinse off the front end after a "Corvette speed" highway run!

Drilled/slotted rotors - mainly for looks?

Is it necessary to change brake pads with new rotors, or can you use your stockers if they are in good shape?

    50th Commemorative

Always thought the '58 was the ultimate early Vette with all the 50s chrome.

    50th Commemorative

Those suckers go for big bucks. There was a guy, from Illinois I believe, at the 50th Celebration in Bowling Green that had created his own. He saw a magazine article about the 5oth Commemorative, pulled his C5 into the back yard---not a shop--and went at it. Started it 3-4 weeks before the...

    GM Bra Help Question/Help

Warning! Tired of finding new paint chips, I bought a GM bra for road trips. Which is more tolerable, paint chips or scuffed paint? The bra moves around enought to haze and dull the paint, at least mine did. Red is in the shop today for a front end buff. The bra is thrown in the corner of...

    jack pucks

I carry a set of Elite Engineering's pucks in the car just in case I should have to have it on an adjustable arm rack which must touch the frame. In the shop, I use the MidAmerica jack insert in the floor jack to lift one side, or pop the jack cradle back in to lift at the crossmembers. All...
