CorvetteCraig where did you order that it took 10 days. Im guessing Corvette Central. They always take ten years to deliver. I placed the order for the longer cable. The stock cable just isn't cutting it. When I go around a turn it will kick in and out.

I have a Edelbrock Performer Intake and still use the factory air filter set up. When its time to get the car painted im going to get the hood that evo80 has. It looks stock.

Since I installed the 700R4 I have gotten over 20 mpg on the highway up from 16. Thats figure is on only 1/2 of a tank. If I were to drive without stopping im sure I would get about 23. Long Island always runs out of road.

The Edelbrock Performer fits under the 1980 hood. I have one. The Performer RPM wont fit because it is a 1/2 inch higher.

It depends what year the car is. For mine its easy. My cruise control dont work so i have a single cable. Cruise cars have two cables upper and lower. I disconect the cable at the tranny. Then move the grommet in the engine compartment. Its the cable next to the brake booster. - speedo cluster...

The only problem ive had is the cable. The pin keeps backing out. I go it from Corvette Central. Evolution where did you get your cable from? It took me bout 30 - 45 minutes to install mine. I like to cruise at 100mph, its just nice to see the needle there.

fasterthanu What do you mean by using stall? I have a 2200 stall, If I hold the brake and get he rpms up to 2200 and launch? Without stall would be just hammering it to the floor?

Are the chambered mufflers emission legal in all states?

The tranny will be tight at the cooling lines! Did you get the 2200 stall converter?

The dipstick was a pain. I didnt bolt it to the tranny I just let it rest up against the firewall. The yolk should show about 3/4 of a inch. I had the old driveshaft shortened and checked with the company on how they wanted it measured. Did you get to the TV cable adjustment? Thats...
