Do to reasons beyond my control I must sell my car. I can not believe this. If interested check out the classified section. Any other questions email me. :cry
I emailed the horrific pictures to my brother the day it was posted. The next morning when he got home from work he noticed black smoke from under his hood. He lifted the hood and the car was on its way up in flames. The alternator wires in the connector fried, melted his distributor, wires...
I would like to hook up my sway bar also. Looking at the pictures I dont have the clearance from the lower radiator hose to the bar like pictured. As soon as I drop the car to the floor the bar touches the lower radiator neck. My car was hit on the passenger front (previous owner). I think this...
If your using the organic pads then one wouldnt need to cut them. I use the semi metalics and cut the rotors. I replace the rotors after they are cut 2x's. Once the rotor is cut too many times they thin out and warp. Then the car pulls to one side when stopping. And squeal. Just my opinion.
I was reading this post and have a question. I have never replaced my vac advance or weights in my distributor. Is this something that is supposed to be done regularly?
Also, how come I always see 75-79 replacement parts for the distributor but not 80? The 1980 305 had the ECM not the 350? I...

When 2005 comes around im gona have a stiff drink! :bar
After I tuned the carb I put the pedal to the floor a few times to see if it would pop. I noticed black carbon spots on the concrete. Am I doing something wrong? I reved up to 3000rpms.
Major- Who told you this? Do you need the engine emissions also? Is this because your car is 25yrs or over? Do I wait till 2005 for my car to be exempt?
Why does it surge?
I made the adjustments you guys talked about. When I nail the gas it dont pop anymore.
I have another question. I have had the carb rebuilt years ago and have replaced everything else on the car. The queston is why does the car stumble when I stop at a traffic light? It...
