No, I havent. I would think the shortened drive shaft is cheaper. If you have yours shortened call the local drive shaft place and ask them what to measure.

I think it was an inch or inch and a half. I had to measure with the tranny yolk in and measure to the rear yolk.

It cost me $35 to get the drive shaft shortened. Also with the 700R4 swap the car feels like I put in 3.73's but I still have the stock rear.

I had the jack slip out from under the car and scratch my door. The paint is gone but there is a smooth lightgray surface. I figured the lightgray is a primer or gel coat. Whatever it is its pretty strong.

The chemical stripper, does that take off the gel coat also?

What is used to strip the cars paint? I thought sanding was the way to go. What chemical works?

I had a vac leak. The easy way to find it is take starter fliud and spray it in very short bursts all around the intake, vac hoses and around the carb. If the engine gets a sudden surge you found the leak. The prevoius owner took out the smog on mine also.

79's dont have giude plates unless previous owner put them in. The centerbolt valve covers first came on the C4. 4 bolts front to rear center of the valve cover.

I wouldnt pay more than 25g for it. 35g I would get a 93-95 ZR-1.
